Duke is an active angel investor and a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences throughout the country including Digital East, South by Southwest, and the MIT Enterprise Forum.

Caitlin Gomez

Caitlin Gomez offers over 15 years of sales and relationship management experience in the travel industry. After spending the first 10 years of her career in the financial sector, Caitlin ran run sales, marketing, public relations and account management for the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA). Caitlin then served as Director of Account Management at Travel Leaders Corporate and Senior Director of Global & Strategic Sales for Hogg Robinson Group (HRG).

Caitlin is co-founder/creator and Chairman of GBTA Ladders, a talent development group within GBTA with the purpose of affording an opportunity for education, and collaboration and mentorship to help shape the next evolution of the industry. She is also Co-Chair of the Membership Committee for WINiT (Women in Travel) and in 2015 was re-elected for second consecutive term as National Director for ASTA. In 2018 Caitlin was selected as one of the travel industry’s top 35 under age 35 and participated in the Young Leaders Summit, hosted by Phocuswright.

His approach marries his early experience working with Amex GBT, his passion for service and strategy and a Jack Welch-era GE execution and financial discipline. Mitch served as CMO, President – Americas and Chief Integration Officer at Galileo, Global President of Travelex Insurance Services and as CEO of GTCR’s Mondee. Mitch is proud to advise numerous startups, including Dinova, DVI, Freebird, Shep and TripBam. They keep him young.

Evan Konwiser
VP of Product Strategy & Marketing, Amex GBT

Evan Konwiser is the Vice President of Product Strategy & Marketing for American Express Global Business Travel, responsible for global marketing and experience for customers, travelers, and travel counselors. He most recently was co-founder and COO of Skylark, a luxury leisure travel agency start-up. He’s built two other travel products: FlightCaster, which predicts flight delays real-time and was acquired in 2010, and Farely, which analyzes airline cost data for travel buyers. He also spent several years consulting in the travel industry for TMCs, airlines, GDS, and travel media companies.

Evan has been an advisor to travel start-ups including Suiteness, Olset (acquired by Deem), RocketMiles (acquired by Priceline), and GetGoing (acquired by BCD Travel). He has also served on the board of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives and was selected as one of the “25 Most Influential Business Travel Executives” of 2016. He is passionate about the traveler experience and finding ways for corporate travel to leapfrog the experience currently available in the consumer travel market.

Krista Pappas

Krista is a multi-disciplined, digital travel innovator and entrepreneur. She draws on more than twenty years of executive leadership experience in the travel industry, from startups to publicly traded companies, including her role as Global Director and Head of Travel at Bing, a Microsoft Company where she led the commercial team, evangelism and strategy. She has led and scaled global teams in sales and BD, marketing + customer acquisition. Most recently, Krista joined where she oversees the company’s business development and distribution strategy.

Prior to she was the COO of DuVine Cycling + Adventure responsible for the overall day-to-day management and growth of the company. Krista was an executive team member of the startup teams Farecast acquired by Microsoft and SmarterTravel which was acquired by TripAdvisor. She also led digital travel at the New York Times after selling her company FareChase, the first travel metasearch company to Yahoo! Krista was coined the first “Internet Travel Analyst” in 1999 and from that point on has been deeply immersed in the travel industry. Her focus has been on the intersection of growth opportunity, travel disruption, technology, search, and customer experience.

Krista currently invests and advises early stage Internet companies and sits on several travel boards.

Dan graduated from the University Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Psychology. He resides in Manhattan with his wife and two children and in his spare time, he enjoys cooking and skiing.
